Barbie is crossing the pond to welcome Selfridges’ new toy department in style. She traded her custom Coach pieces for Sister by Sibling, Fred Butler, and Nasir Mazhar’s work. Each designed five looks for the limited edition dolls and specially made packaging to accompany her.

This makes perfect sense to tap the moppet as the new department’s welcome wagon, as Selfridges has a section dedicated to the plastic beauty, which according to Women’s Wear Daily, “showcases the best of Barbie around a central totem-pole display that houses dolls from the past and present as well as limited-edition offerings.”

Barbie isn’t a stranger to Sister by Sibling, the brand made mini-versions of its fall collection for her for its show last February. This time she’ll wear signature knit pieces designed by Cozette McCreery, Sid Bryan, and Joe Bates.

Someone seems to be the fashion favorite in London, no? Sister by Sibling designing pieces for her, Barbie previously commissioned designer Roksanda Illincic to outfit her new virtual pad after seeing her Fall/Winter 2013 show earlier this year. The doll is still in the market for a new home after moving away from Malibu earlier this summer, we could easily see the tiny fashionista strolling the streets of London on her way to her designer-decorated flat in the future.
